I suggest that you "anti-gay" forum users get your facts straight before trying to straighten those of others. This web-ministry program conveys a great and dangerous lie - the lie that homosexuality and homosexual orientation are the same.
This lie often causes many same-sex attracted persons to believe that there is no way to change their feelings toward the same sex, and that they have no choice but to become homosexuals.
Here is the honest-to-God truth: HOMOSEXUALITY AND HOMOSEXUAL ORIENTATION ARE NOT THE SAME!!!
If a man is romantically and/or sexually attracted to other men, or women to other women, it is not their fault. They are not homosexuals, but they are merely "SAME-SEX ATTRACTED" persons, or persons with homosexual orientation. Same-sex attraction usually develops near the pubescent period of life. IT IS NOT A SIN, because no one can control how he or she feels. More often than not, these feelings of same-sex attraction are unwanted by the individual. But when people like you tell them that homosexual orientation and homosexuality are the same and are both sinful, you probably cause them to believe that they can never change, and that they have no choice but to become homosexuals.
Once a person decides to act on his or her feelings and have sex with someone of the same gender (oral penetration or anal penetration with the tongue or penis), then they become homosexuals. One must have SEX to become a homoSEXUAL. Just as one must have sex to officially become a heterosexual. If a person has never had sex before, then he or she is CHASTE, because they are not yet sexually active. Homosexuality IS a sin, because it is unnatural and a perverted form of love.
Even the Church teaches this. The Church also teaches that homosexuals should be accepted with compassion and love, but one should never approve of their actions.
Remember that ACCEPTANCE DOES NOT REQUIRE APPROVAL!!!
