So do I, but then again, they are all individuals and the way you answer one, is not the way you answer the next, even if the answer required is the same.
We are not going to get this done quickly. I have friends who spend years and years sharing with Muslims and it might take that long to make a break through.
I've been reading a book today. It's called "unveiling Islam" and it's by Ergun Mehmet Caner, and Emir Fethi Caner, two of three brothers who have become Christians. Please read this quote from the book
"As you begin this investigation into Islam, it's teachings, and it's adherants, we want you to see the human side of the religion, where faith often means the the total rejection of culture, ethnicity, family and friends. To find heaven's glory in Jesus Christ, we Caner brothers lost our father - our earthly hero - as have millions of others worldwide. Conversion to Jesus Christ often means disowning, disinheritance, expulsion, arrest and even death. At this moment,( in Muslim countries), for the sake of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, men and women are being horsewhipped into submission, tortured, imprisoned, batthered and broken. Homes are being burned and families executed and other lives lost through hateful revenge. If you think that torture and murder because of belief in Jesus Christ is a thing of the past, then you are tragically mistaken. Across our globe, the blood of Christians runs down cobblestone streets, dirt paths, paved alleys and concrete prison floors. To those of the syncretistic pursuasion that all roads lead to God, we state clearly that we did not switch religions. The blood of Jesus Christ saved us. What happened to us was not an act of a religious person, rather , it was God's gracious act of redemption"
Awesome words arn't they? We are involved in setting the captives free with Jesus.. but freedom for those we share with could come at a terrible price. Let's all pray for every single person who's life we will touch with the Gospel today through the forum, that God will graciously reach out to them.
