And the commentary says Alah means: to swear, or to bind oneself by an oath. It says El or Elah is a word for God, not Alah. Also, I do not mind God being called Allah. There are Christian Arabs who call God Allah. If it's another way of saying "the one and only God" then I see no problem. Also, did you bother to read the first two lines of the commentary? It supports the trinity. It says: "English form 'God,' the first of the three primary names of Diety." You just sold yourself out my friend. |
