Homosexual Discussion ForumEating pork, condemned by the Lord or not?Kareem, I never said you said people who eat pork were going to hell. I was just making that point to clarify things to the readers, if any. Jesus never taught to pray to the Father and not Himself. He taught to pray to the Father through Him. He said, "Whatever you want of the Father, ask the Son." (John 14:13) Also, in the next verse Jesus says, "If ye shall ask in my name, I will do it." And the verse after that Jesus says, "If ye love me, keep my commandments." Hebrews 1:2 (God) Hath in these last days spoken unto us by His Son, whom He hath appointed heir of all things, by whom (Jesus) He made the worlds {The physical and the spiritual realms}. Hebrews 1:10 And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands: Hebrews 2:10 For it became Him, for whom are all things, and by whom (Jesus) are all things (created), in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings. Hebrews 3:4 For every house is builded by some man; but He that built all things is God. There is too much biblical proof that Jesus is God manifested in the Flesh. Yes He was sent by the Father, but the Father is in Him and gave Jesus divine powers. More Proof that Jesus is God in the Flesh 1 Timothy 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. Hebrews 1:8 But unto the Son (Jesus) He (Father) saith, Thy throne, O God, is forever and ever: a scepter of righteousness is the scepter of thy Kingdom. Revelation 1:6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and His Father; to Him be Glory and Dominion forever and ever. Amen. Acts 20:28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost (Spirit) hath made you overseers, to feed the Church of God, which He hath Purchased with His Own Blood. Even in Isaiah, God prophesied that the Messiah was going to have authority. God has given Jesus authority to rule over us. Why is that so hard to understand? There's TONS of more proof if you need it and if you're still not convinced. |
