Muslim & Christian Discussion ForumJESUS LIFEWell Jimmy, I asked you to explain only one of many Scriptures that led me to reject the Trinity as a valid doctrine. Your response side stepped the question by appealing to a traditional Christology that was developed between the 2nd and 4th centuries by Greeks who did not understand the Hebraic foundation of Christianity and was then enforced by secular authority. Peter, John, and Paul were not Trinitarians, which is evident by the many explicit statements in what they wrote, for instance Acts 2, John 17:3, and 1 Corinthians 8:6. My rejection of the Trinity is not based on just one verse, however your acceptance of the Trinity is based on a Christology derived from Greek philosophy, a philosophy that is the antithesis of the Hebrew foundation of Christianity. |
