Religious Cults & False Prophets~ Discussions and DebatesFalse Religions and the AfterlifeI wonder if there's been an experiment conducted outside a vacuum. If there hasn't, there needs to be. But how can matter possibly move so fast? Moving faster than the speed of light should be imppossible. It would require an unlimited energy source, which doesn't appear to exist. And what about the stresses impposed? Perhaps the speed of light is faster than we think. It all comes down the need for more experiments in this feild. Light is tricky to work with, and so not much has been done. I'm looking forward to a Science Channel program on the subject set to air soon. I would expect light to weaken for every particle it comes in contact with, but I can't say if speed would be affected. Perhaps it would slow, but... Even if just millions, light would still probably take hundreds of thousands of years to travel from them. |
