Science, Creation & Evolutionjust some general logicYou are correct Jovaro. What many people don't understand is the chance that we exist is 1. If you take all of the reasons why we exist (water, oxygen, etc...) it doesn't matter the odds. The fact is we exist and we exist for a reason. Now you can analyze the reasons and put odds with them and do mathematical calculations or whatever you want, but that doesn't change that we exist. If for instance there was a change in oxygen levels when the "big bang" occured so that there was a reduction, we might have bigger lungs. You could then analyze the chances that the amount of oxygen that does exist and test the probability. What I'm trying to say is that we did evolve, and the only reason we are able to make odds as to why it isn't possible, is because it is possible. You wouldn't be thinking about why we are here if evolution didn't happen in the way it did. Conversely, if evolution happened differently, like in the example above, we would have physical differences without a "control" person to compare to. In conclusion, if evolution didn't happen you wouldn't be talking about the probability it didnt. And another thing. Evolution does in a sense has shown that we evolved from "primordial soup." How is that any more unreasonable than saying that we came from a rib bone? The only difference between the two, is that one of these claims has evidence to back it up. |
