That this passage uses the word 'begotten' and it is usually associated with the Messiah, neither tells me what you mean, nor does it make any significant difference. Why don't you stop beating around the bushes and tell me what it means to you? Does it mean anything, or are you merely playing with words? Why would God call anyone to be His son, if He did not really mean it? In fact, in Exodus, God calls Israel 'his firstborn.' |
