ArchivedQuestions about the BibleDon't be rediculous now. Use common sense. The book of the Covenant is the Jewish law. All the laws and judgments God gave to the Jews. It says Moses took the book of the Covenant and read it. God made a covenant and discusssed it with Moses, and Moses wrote every law down and it is in the bible. Just because there is a certain name of a book that we cannot find, does not mean its contents are not in the bible. ???!!!!!! Why is this important?!!?!!!! What does this have to do with the rest of mankind?!!!! It says Jeremiah composed laments for Josiah. Unless Josiah is another word for mankind, I do not see your point. Your just someone trying to get as much dirt on the bible as you can. If it says Vision of Isaiah, then why don't you look it the book of Isaiah? Isaiah 1:1- The vision of Isaiah the son of Amoz concerning Judah and Jerusalem, which he saw during the reigns of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz {and} Hezekiah, kings of Judah. Are you happy now?! [You can also read Isaiah 36:1-39:8] *Sigh* Can you please look at the book of Kings. Because that's what this clearly says. 1 Kings 16:1,7 will give you your answer. Just because there are some books missing, how does that not make what it has now Holy? The bible is meant to be God's redemptive plan for man's sin. It is not a history book about the lifes of people that have nothing to do with God's plan for salvation. Do you expect the bible to have the lifes of all the rulers the world has ever had?! |
