Religious Cults & False Prophets~ Discussions and DebatesWHICH Commandments?Aineo, to say that Jesus is not God, goes against scripture. And to give you more insight, there were two laws given. The law of God, and the law of Moses, which was placed besides the ark as a testimony against israel. And I follow the laws of the old testament yes, even the law of moses, for as far as I have been tought at the moment, for I am only for the last 3 months come to the conclusion that the law is still applicable, because otherwise the NT does not add up. I eat kosher, why? because it's a lot more healthy than to not eat kosher. I honour the sabbath day, why? because I refuse to honour a day that is consecrated to the sun, globally. I'd rather celebrate the day God Himself made holy. I also celebrate the biblical feasts, yom kippur, rosh hashana, shavout, pascha, etc... why? because I am not interested in feasts which were made by altering days consecrated to pagan gods. Easter, coming from ishtar, was a goddess of fertility(eg. sex) and war. Christmas is a celebration to call awake the sun so that everlasting darkness will not settle, it's consecrated to baal. The biblical feasts have been instituted by God Himself. Why would I wish to do away what He made, as an everlasting feast to be celebrated. The yoke of Christ is light, but if you chuck away the law, you do not know what sin is, and you do not know how to please God. If you wish to please God, obey the law, and walk in His paths. if you don't care, well, you'll miss something in your relationship with God. Am i under the law? Do I need the law to get to the new earth? surely not. I follow the law because I wish to please God, and to live a holy life, just like Christ did. I am forgiven by grace, and I live by grace, but the law is an excellent manual of how to please my father, to love my neighbour, to give to the poor and needy, to give my part to God, to seek His presence first, all of that is in the law. To talk with david I personally find the law beatifull, a jewel of magnificence. Before I recieved the insight I have now from God, I used to purely think logical, without beholding the beaty, and even then I thought, if every nation on the earth would live by this law, there would be no hunger, no nakedness, anywhere in the world. and that was by pure logical thinking. Why do people wish to protect: a sunday: The day of the sun, in all cultures around the world, it's consecrated to the sun god, known as baäl, ra, etc... easter: A fertility festival, consecrated to ishtar(and many other names) Christmas: A sun calling fesitival, to make sure the sun will come back, and everlasting darkness will not settle on the earth, consecrated to baal. Almost all the roman katholic festivals have a pagan origin, or are so twisted that only the name is the same, but the rest is all different. I personally hate and despise anything that has roots in paganism. it makes me sick, it grosses me out. People trying to mix God, with false gods and declare that "holy" or "good" I rather have my fundament in the bible, and the bible alone, and the bible teaches many beatifull feasts, ordained by God Himself. Why discard those? |
