I see you were selective in the Scriptures you posted. Therefore let's start at the beginning and see if we can understand God's word. I will start with Passover.
Exodus 12:1-13
Now the LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying, 2 "This month shall be your beginning of months; it shall be the first month of the year to you. 3 Speak to all the congregation of Israel, saying: 'On the tenth of this month every man shall take for himself a lamb, according to the house of his father, a lamb for a household. 4 And if the household is too small for the lamb, let him and his neighbor next to his house take it according to the number of the persons; according to each man's need you shall make your count for the lamb. 5 Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year. You may take it from the sheep or from the goats. 6 Now you shall keep it until the fourteenth day of the same month. Then the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it at twilight. 7 And they shall take some of the blood and put it on the two doorposts and on the lintel of the houses where they eat it. 8 Then they shall eat the flesh on that night; roasted in fire, with unleavened bread and with bitter herbs they shall eat it. 9 Do not eat it raw, nor boiled at all with water, but roasted in fire -- its head with its legs and its entrails. 10 You shall let none of it remain until morning, and what remains of it until morning you shall burn with fire. 11 And thus you shall eat it: with a belt on your waist, your sandals on your feet, and your staff in your hand. So you shall eat it in haste. It is the LORD's Passover.
12'For I will pass through the land of Egypt on that night, and will strike all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the LORD. 13 Now the blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you are. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you; and the plague shall not be on you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt.
NKJV
Exodus 34:25
25 "You shall not offer the blood of My sacrifice with leaven, nor shall the sacrifice of the Feast of the Passover be left until morning.
NKJV
Leviticus 23:4-5
'These are the feasts of the LORD, holy convocations which you shall proclaim at their appointed times. 5 On the fourteenth day of the first month at twilight is the LORD's Passover.
NKJV
Numbers 9:1-3
Now the LORD spoke to Moses in the Wilderness of Sinai, in the first month of the second year after they had come out of the land of Egypt, saying: 2 "Let the children of Israel keep the Passover at its appointed time. 3 On the fourteenth day of this month, at twilight, you shall keep it at its appointed time. According to all its rites and ceremonies you shall keep it."
NKJV
Ezra 6:19-21
And the descendants of the captivity kept the Passover on the fourteenth day of the first month. 20 For the priests and the Levites had purified themselves; all of them were ritually clean. And they slaughtered the Passover lambs for all the descendants of the captivity, for their brethren the priests, and for themselves. 21 Then the children of Israel who had returned from the captivity ate together with all who had separated themselves from the filth of the nations of the land in order to seek the LORD God of Israel.
NKJV
For the Hebrews (Israelites) the day begins at sunset (twilight). Sunset or twilight is when the disc of the sun falls below the horizon. So we see that the Passover lamb was to be killed and eaten after twilight and before morning on Nisan 14, which precludes eating the Passover on the 15th of Nisan.
Next lets look at the Feast of Unleavened Bread.
Exodus 12:17-28
17 So you shall observe the Feast of Unleavened Bread, for on this same day I will have brought your armies out of the land of Egypt. Therefore you shall observe this day throughout your generations as an everlasting ordinance. 18 In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month at evening, you shall eat unleavened bread, until the twenty-first day of the month at evening. 19 For seven days no leaven shall be found in your houses, since whoever eats what is leavened, that same person shall be cut off from the congregation of Israel, whether he is a stranger or a native of the land. 20 You shall eat nothing leavened; in all your dwellings you shall eat unleavened bread.'"
21 Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel and said to them,"Pick out and take lambs for yourselves according to your families, and kill the Passover lamb. 22 And you shall take a bunch of hyssop, dip it in the blood that is in the basin, and strike the lintel and the two doorposts with the blood that is in the basin. And none of you shall go out of the door of his house until morning. 23 For the LORD will pass through to strike the Egyptians; and when He sees the blood on the lintel and on the two doorposts, the LORD will pass over the door and not allow the destroyer to come into your houses to strike you. 24 And you shall observe this thing as an ordinance for you and your sons forever. 25 It will come to pass when you come to the land which the LORD will give you, just as He promised, that you shall keep this service. 26 And it shall be, when your children say to you, 'What do you mean by this service?' 27 that you shall say,'It is the Passover sacrifice of the LORD, who passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt when He struck the Egyptians and delivered our households.'" So the people bowed their heads and worshiped. 28 Then the children of Israel went away and did so; just as the LORD had commanded Moses and Aaron, so they did.
NKJV
Exodus 13:3-10
And Moses said to the people:"Remember this day in which you went out of Egypt, out of the house of bondage; for by strength of hand the LORD brought you out of this place. No leavened bread shall be eaten. 4 On this day you are going out, in the month Abib. 5 And it shall be, when the LORD brings you into the land of the Canaanites and the Hittites and the Amorites and the Hivites and the Jebusites, which He swore to your fathers to give you, a land flowing with milk and honey, that you shall keep this service in this month. 6 Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread, and on the seventh day there shall be a feast to the LORD. 7 Unleavened bread shall be eaten seven days. And no leavened bread shall be seen among you, nor shall leaven be seen among you in all your quarters. 8 And you shall tell your son in that day, saying, 'This is done because of what the LORD did for me when I came up from Egypt.' 9 It shall be as a sign to you on your hand and as a memorial between your eyes, that the LORD's law may be in your mouth; for with a strong hand the LORD has brought you out of Egypt. 10 You shall therefore keep this ordinance in its season from year to year.
NKJV
Exodus 23:14-15
15 You shall keep the Feast of Unleavened Bread (you shall eat unleavened bread seven days, as I commanded you, at the time appointed in the month of Abib, for in it you came out of Egypt; none shall appear before Me empty);
NKJV
Exodus 34:18
18 "The Feast of Unleavened Bread you shall keep. Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread, as I commanded you, in the appointed time of the month of Abib; for in the month of Abib you came out from Egypt.
NKJV
Leviticus 23:6-8
6 And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the Feast of Unleavened Bread to the LORD; seven days you must eat unleavened bread. 7 On the first day you shall have a holy convocation; you shall do no customary work on it. 8 But you shall offer an offering made by fire to the LORD for seven days. The seventh day shall be a holy convocation; you shall do no customary work on it.'"
NKJV
Ezra 6:22
22 And they kept the Feast of Unleavened Bread seven days with joy; for the LORD made them joyful, and turned the heart of the king of Assyria toward them, to strengthen their hands in the work of the house of God, the God of Israel.
NKJV
Exodus 12:18 instructs the Israelites they are to eat unleavened bread from the 14th until the evening of the 21st day of Nisan. This covers a period of 8 days. The 15th and 21st of Nisan are holy convocations or Sabbaths. Now you brought up Ezekiel 45, which can be understood to teach that the Israelites kept both the Passover and a 7 day Feast of Unleavened Bread.
What we see is that unleavened bread was an integral requirement for Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread and was to be eaten from the 14th until evening of the 21st day of Nisan.
Now, what day is the preparation day? The 14th or the 13th day of Nisan since all leaven had to be removed from the house in order to celebrate the Feast of Unleavened Bread? I think it is logical to think preparation day was the 13th since unleavened bread is on the Passover menu. Also John records that Jesus was taken before Pilate on preparation day or the day before the Passover.
Now let's look at the NT accounts where the Lord instituted the Lord's Supper.
Matthew 26:26
And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to the disciples and said, "Take, eat; this is My body."
NKJV
Mark 14:22
And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to them and said, "Take, eat; this is My body."
NKJV
Luke 22:15-19
15 Then He said to them, "With fervent desire I have desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer; 16 for I say to you, I will no longer eat of it until it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God."
17 Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, "Take this and divide it among yourselves; 18 for I say to you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God comes."
19 And He took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, "This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me."
NKJV
1st Corinthians 11:23-24
For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you: that the Lord Jesus on the same night in which He was betrayed took bread; 24 and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, "Take, eat; this is My body which is broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me."
NKJV
In Luke Jesus said he desired to eat the Passover but he also said he would no longer eat it until it is fulfilled in the Kingdom of God. We can discern from this that the meal he shared with his apostles was not a Passover Seder. Now check out the Greek word translated bread in all the above and you will find it is "arton" the Greek word for leavened bread. The Greek word for unleavened bread is "azumos". You might also like to take this Scripture into account:
John 13:26-30
26 Jesus answered, "It is he to whom I shall give a piece of bread when I have dipped it." And having dipped the bread, He gave it to Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon. 27 Now after the piece of bread, Satan entered him. Then Jesus said to him, "What you do, do quickly." 28 But no one at the table knew for what reason He said this to him. 29 For some thought, because Judas had the money box, that Jesus had said to him, "Buy those things we need for the feast," or that he should give something to the poor.
30 Having received the piece of bread, he then went out immediately. And it was night.
NKJV
Again "arton" is the word used for "bread". Also why would some of the apostles think Judas was going to purchase what was needed for the Passover if they were eating the Passover?
As to the rest of your posts I have only this to say, evening does not mean morning even to a Jew. Dawn is the period before sunrise not the period after sunset. I have not put forth that the Sabbath is now Sunday. The Sabbath was instituted by God as a day of rest in Genesis and in the 10 Commandments. The Law required the Jews to observe a holy convocation on the Sabbath. If you are going to observe Passover then you have to observe all the requirements, which means you have to be circumcised. The Council of Jerusalem as recorded in Acts 15 excuses gentiles from being circumcised. Also, Paul (not I) taught that keeping the traditional festivals was not required of gentiles. Then there is the Book of Hebrews, which tells us that a change in the High Priest necessitates a change in the Law and since our High Priest is Jesus a Judean (not a Levite) we as Christians are not under compulsion to observe the annual festivals.
Paul wrote we are Abraham's seed.
Galatians 3:29
29 And if you are Christ's, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
NKJV
Now if salvation and righteousness could come through the Law given to the Sons of Israel then the crucifixion would not have been necessary.
Now since you do not like the dates I gave let's see what astronomy tells us about the time of the crucifixion Passover.
http://www.judaismvschristianity.com/Passover_dates.htm
I see that you are freely interpreting my posts just as you are freely interpreting Scripture. I did not post Jesus was crucified on Tuesday. I posted Jesus was crucified at the 6th hour on 13 Nisan, which corresponds to 12 noon. Jesus was resurrected before dawn (sunrise) on the 1st day of the week or before dawn on Sunday. This tells us that Jesus was resurrected sometime between the end of the Sabbath and sunrise on the first day of the week.
Now you can appeal to the Restoration Scriptures but the fact is these are translations of the original languages. You can also appeal to what Jesus said concerning the Law but unless you keep the whole Law you are in no position to criticize gentiles who do not. When was the last time you offered a bull, lamb, or dove to atone for your sins? I imagine your response will be Jesus is our sacrifice, but where is that in the Law? The fact is the Law does not tell us Jesus is our sacrifice this is a NT teaching that exempts Jews and gentiles from keeping the letter of the Law. Add the Council of Jerusalem to the mix and those who advocate keeping the Sabbath and the other Jewish festivals have a problem since:
2nd Timothy 3:16-17
All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
NKJV
You seem to want to pick and choose what Scripture to believe and what Scriptures to set aside. The Law was given to the Sons of Israel and as long as gentiles lived in the nation of Israel they were subject to Israeli Law. However, those gentiles who do not live in the nation of Israel are not under Israeli Law. The Council of Jerusalem exempted gentiles from keeping the Law or do you exclude Acts 15 from the Scriptures? The United States is not Israel; Ephesus, Galatia, Corinth, and etc. were not part of Israel and at the time Jesus walked the earth Jews were under the authority of Caesar. Jesus said render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar's and unto God the things that are God's. Could you see a Christian slave telling Caesar to take a hike on the Sabbath and on the Jewish festivals? Paul wrote:
Romans 13:1-3
Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. 2 Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves. 3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil. Do you want to be unafraid of the authority?
NKJV
The governing authorities require some of their employees to work on the Sabbath as well as the Jewish Festivals.
Paul also wrote:
Galatians 3:24-29
24 Therefore the law was our tutor to bring us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith. 25 But after faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor.
26 For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. 27 For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 And if you are Christ's, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
NKJV
Is this part of Scripture? Christians are sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus, not by adherence to festivals that are a shadow of things to come.
