Buddha, Hinduism, Mithraism, Baha'i, & etc.Well, love me all to hell...No. I was not using the laws of physics to make my point. I was merely showing that the first law of thermodynamics explains something that coincides with the theistic view of the universe. But God knows the eternal destination that they will choose. So in essence, God creates hellbound living entities. He knows they are hellbound. There is no way around this. As long as we entertain the idea of hell as a place where souls dwell eternally, we are either saying that God makes mistakes, or we are saying that God enjoys the endless suffering of others. And even in the case of a sadistic God, there still seems to be a contradiction in the way that this God creates such hellbound entities on earth and with a free will. If God simply wanted them to suffer perpetually, then He would create them in hell. And having free will is direct evidence of the prospect to find love of God. So all these things contradict the nature of God. Eternal hell is simply unacceptable. It may last a long time, but eternity is out of the question. From everything that has been revealed to me, God loves all souls. He may become angry with them and chastise them, but He does so out of pure, transcendental love. Eternal suffering is the enemy of such Divine love. |
