Heterosexuality Discussion ForumAny Christian homosexuals out there? :: Re: ReasonRe: Reason Erm... okay, that's better than what he said, but could it be *gasp!* because they... love one another? Sure, the economics of it is definitely a plus... and as it is, the discrimination is disgusting (i.e., a gay parent can't come visit a terminally ill child if they're not 'family'); but did/would you marry a woman for.. economic reasons? I mean, come on. That's ridiculous. What about super-rich gay people? Do they want it for economic reasons...? I guess you meant "read" not "real", but I'm fairly certain "Sex and the Brain" is a common title... ...I have no idea who that is, or what your topic is... Gay dogma.. lol.. Perhaps some believed that.. Freud seemed to, but then, Freud believed a lot of things. Right. It's amazing they'd be so brazen as to change their views now that they have the help of sophistocated brain imaging, and decades of study. Amazing. You want to see dogmatic 180s? Look at the Church. Let's be serious here. How many sects of Christianity are there!?!? How different are their beliefs? What did the church used to do to people who went against them? When did the church finally acknowledge the work of people like Gallileo? Start using people like Newton? Well, I still have no idea what your view is on how gays are "made"... or what you even mean by that (did you even state an opinion..?), but no... truth never comes out fully. Ever. People will choose to believe what they wish, regardless of ample evidence. That's how people are. There are stupid people, there are ignorant people, and then there are willfully ignorant people. There are a lots of all three, and even smart people are included in the latter two categories. Lol.. okay Dan Quayle If you say so. It really isn't though.. there are a lot more important issues out there that people choose to ignore simply because they don't feel it affects them. |
