Apologetics Forum: Ask questions about Christianity/Debate doctrinescatholicsSo they're in purgatory, right? Interesting, didn't sense the pro-Catholic side in you. People don't stay there indefinitely. The man who was next to Christ on the cross asked Christ for mercy and accepted Him. Jesus assured that he would be with Him in Paradise that day. Must I quote this? What's your interpretation? Seems like many do enter Heaven and are with Christ. Scriptural evidence shows this, from my example. Also, the Transfiguration. Elijah and Moses were beings of light. How could this be possible if they came from Sheol. I've heard some Christians say the prophets themselves even remained in Sheol until Christ freed them. I question this. |
