They aren't made of the same thing. Yes, I knew that the experiment was performed to show an example of stalactite formation, rather than compare rates of formation. People aren't bored enough to do the latter, and frankly don't care, because they know that the stuff that makes stalactites in cement structures is so much more soluble that they would be formed relatively faster anyways, even without reusing the water. No, creationist scientests arent my experts. Niagra Falls was made via a glacier, which ended about 10,000 years ago. Thus, Niagra Falls is young, which says nothing about the age of the earth.
