because if I would have 102 isotopes, that would mean it would be even longer, etc...
Logic dictates for me with a half life of 5730 years:
We take 3 test samples and manually insert them with the c14 thingies:
100 thingies = 50 thingies after 5730 years...
1.000 thingies = 500 thingies after 5730 years...
10.000 thingies = 5.000 thingies after 5730 years...
Why then does it decay faster in objects with higher quantity of the stuff?
But then again, this is just my logic speaking... of course I'm not a scientist... but c14 dating and other methods like it just aint logical in my eyes... but then again, that just me, and you know me *grin*
