Apparent conflict in the rules of this forum
I'm new to this forum and this is only the second forum I've ever really given a shake to. In reading your eleven rules, however, I see some pretty glaring inconsistancies. #1 states something about respecting other users, ever atheists, but then #11 says that this is a site that proposes the indefensible position that the bible is the 'inerring word of god.'
How can those two statements complement each other? Obviously, an atheist commenter will not share that position and will be vulnerable to deletion at any time (thus why would he/she want to devote his limited time on this planet to such a forum?) Plus, this means that no one would be inclined to point out the thousands of instances in both the new and old testament that directly contradict recorded history and the bible itself. If you really believed you were right and the bible was 100% correct, you would not need to preclude such individuals, yet why would anyone bother to try to speak truth to you when such rediculous rules are in place?
