Religious Cults & False Prophets~ Discussions and DebatesNo OSAS (Revelation 22:19)I disagree. Saying that someone will do good works if they are saved is not the same as saying someone must do good works to be or remain saved. You are saved at the moment of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, which is the work of the Holy Spirit whereby He takes you out of Adam and puts you into Christ by applying the righteousness of Christ to your life. You know you are saved because you know what you believe with regards to needing to be reconciled to God because of your sin, and knowing that Christ is the only means to that reconciliation. Others know you are saved because they see your good works. Wait, right there. It was not my interpretation of what they believe. It was yours. I asked you if they believe homosexuality is a sin, and you said that they don’t. So, if we are working from anyone’s interpretation here, it’s yours. No, because this isn’t a thread about music. But that’s not the point anyway. The point is that Gay Theology does not advocate practicing sin, which you accuse them of. They advocate practicing something that we know is sin, but that they do not yet know is sin. So, if they rejected that belief, then on the basis of Scripture, we know that they are antichrists, and antichrists were never saved in the first place. I never rejected the definition of the word. I simply showed how all apostates are antichrists (a premise you have yet to even make an attempt at refuting), which means they were never saved in the first place. |
