Aineo, since you refused to offer an explanation for verses that I posted, but rather waved your hand and locked the thread, I will repost the verses here.
All along, you have asked for Biblical proof that "they were never saved in the first place". As proof, I offer 1 John 2:18-19:
- 18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.
19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.
Please explain to me why you will not accept these verses as proof that "they were never saved in the first place." All you have done is claim that I have pulled it out of context or redefined words, yet you offer no alternative explanation. As far as I can tell, these verses have not been touched on in the various threads concerning OSAS, so you cannot use the "I don't want to rehash the same old arguments" copout. Please tell me what the proper context is for these verses if I am wrong, and please show me where I am redefining words in this verse.
