So are you saying that unless someone knows everything that Jesus said and did, they cannot be saved?
Matthew 4:4 "But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by [every word] that proceedeth out of the mouth of God".
From what Jesus says here, I take it that it is very important to know what the Bible says, in great detail.
Explain, then, John 21:25 to me: "And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen. "
Why worry about things that are not available to us ?
The Bible alone details enough for us to know, regarding the plan of salvation itself.
The world itself could not contain the books written detailing all of the works that Jesus did, yet you're telling me that I have to know them all, even though they are not written, in order to be saved?
Last time I checked, salvation comes by grace through faith, not by the good work of expanding our knowledge to include everything that Jesus did and said.
Faith is knowledge gained from the study of the Bible....
Romans 10:17 "So then faith [cometh] by hearing, and hearing by the word of God".
Jesus Christ also said, "Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me".[color]

How is Obedience the answer to my question?
The Bible says belief gives you salvation, and everyone who has salvation has eternal life. The Bible also says that salvation will result in good works, like obedience. So if someone odeys, then we have evidence that they are saved. And if someone does not obey, then we have evidence that they are not saved. And the evidence that they were not saved to begin with is in the fact that all those who have been saved have been "created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them." (Eph. 2:10)

I agree with Aineo..... to obey what?
The commandments of God.
The same ones, Jesus Christ obeyed.
If I understand you correctly (please correct me if I'm misunderstanding you), then you believe that if you disobey even in the slightest, then you are not saved, and you use Luke 6:46 to justify that belief. Is that right?
At least Aineo believes you have to willfully choose to walk away and practice sin to lose your salvation.
