ArchivedOSAS revisitedFor a man of your age I would expect that you should have known by now that quarreling and attacking personalities doesn't encourage the listener at all. As an imperfect person, I think its now better for me to be a doer of the word and not a hearer only, do you know that "A soft answer turneth away wrath, but grievous words stir up anger." (Proverbs 15:1). I suggest that you do the same. Aineo, what has been demonstrated is your lack of ability to concentrate on my words, does the word "collectively" mean anything to you? Does it mean that "ALL" the Gentiles will be grafted into the olive branch? Your lack of concentration and going off on a tangent is utterly amazing on this thread. Sorry Aineo, I am not trying to be rude, but your only leading the simple minded astray with your nonsensical flummox. Too many times and counting.....how does departing from the Gospel indicate that the person who departed actually possessed Salvation, and or believed in their hearts? Do you realize that it can only be determined that they were mere "professors" and "possessors" of Salvation? And please don't use Mel White, Troy Perry or Billy Graham as a cop out and embarrass yourself. I'm going to "DEPART" (withdraw, remove from) from your teachings on this thread, and I sure the heck NEVER believed it to be TRUE or had FAITH in it, this is a perfect analogy which you are completely blinded to. Another example that you need to retire altogether in debates is found in your statement that I said that the "unsaved" are "pruned". You can't pay attention can you? ummm......Who said that the unsaved are pruned? And since you said that Jesus was adressing the "Jews" and not the "Gentiles", then being "cut off" in Romans 11 would only apply to the Jews and not the Gentiles. Your whole thesis falls apart.
And who actually said that the unsaved are pruned? LOL!!! Since according to you, "cut off" refers to loss of Salvation, that would mean that the unsaved are pruned! And since according to you, the unsaved are not pruned, that would mean that the unsaved are not "cut off". Therefore if "cut off" refers to loss of salvation, then the unsaved are pruned according to your distorted analogy of relating "cut off" to "pruned", that would mean that your statement of "there is no indication Jesus is referring to the unsaved being the branches that are pruned", makes no sense, in other words it is "nonsense" . I am quitting this thread not only because it was recommended by a beloved Christian friend of mines, but also to save you from further embarrassment. I already beat you in regards to prayer and have prayed that your blinded eyes and hardened heart will be opened to to biblical truth and not the "heresy" which you have been teaching on this board. "Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?" (Matthew 7:10), you're not asking the LORD for fish my friend, especially with a hostile heart towards whom you pray for. I also truly pray that those who read your words on this thread will not be deceived by your perversions of scripture and interpretations which conform only to your ears. Your quote of 2 Timothy 3:1-9 won't do any good, because it is the epitome of what has been going on on your part, and sadly you fail to take your own advice. (MY SHEEP) hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. ( John 10:27,28 KJV ) Jesus' does not speak conditionally about His sheep, but rather the facts concerning them. They are not given eternal life based on the "conditions" that they continue to obey and follow Him, rather they are given eternal life because they are His (Jesus') sheep and the characteristics of His sheep are found in this passage. A present, indicative active is connotative of a continuous action. What are the characteristics of His sheep? His sheep hears (akouo:, ak-oo'-o; to perceive and to understand [present, indicative active]) His voice, and He knows (ginosko, ghin-oce'-koossessing deep, intimate knowledge of [present, indicative active]) them, and they follow (akoloutheo, ak-ol-oo-theh'-o;to accompany (specially, as a disciple):--follow, reach. [present, indicative active]) Him, and He gives (didomi, did'-o-mee; to bestow a gift [present, indicative active]) unto them eternal life and they shall never (ou me, oo may; certainly not, not at all, by no means) perish (apollumi, ap-ol'-loo-mee; state if ruin, to be lost, die, mar). There are Goats and there are Sheeps. Jesus knows His sheep and they continually hear His voice and they continually follow Him and He gives them eternal life and they will never perish, i.e., they do not "Fall Away" and they do not become lost or "Lose their Salvation". Who are those who are not known by Jesus, nor continually hear His voice, nor continually follow Him, nor are given eternal life? GOATS! So who is calling Jesus a liar? Free will doesn't work here, if those by their "free will" choose to walk away, fall away, lose their belief, then they are those who failed in continuing to hear His voice, failed in continuing to follow Jesus, thus they do not possess the facts concerning the characteristics of Jesus' sheep. Therefore they can only be GOATS! I have refuted your arguments innumerous times before. You can either hear what Jesus clearly said and follow His words, OR you can continue to ramble on and on and embarass yourself one day by failing to take heed. I end my part of the debate here, since only a fool would try and win a debate with you even when you obviously lost, knowing this will damage your ego, I will leave you with your "pride" and your innate ability to never admit your wrong which I find disturbing and extremely shameful. I am almost quite certain that anybody as anyone on this forum knows that even when you are caught refuted, you won't admit being wrong so you resort to worming your way out with distortions of scripture, taking scriptures out of context and conforming them to suit your tickled ears, this is the very reason why it is impossible to overcome you with TRUTH, and I Pity you for this. God Bless! |
