Muslim & Christian Discussion ForumPlease try and convince me otherwise. :: replyreply I never started a bible-quran debate .... I said that the violence which the Bible is encouraging is far more severe and extreme than anything written in Islamic scriptures, and I even went to the extent of saying that the things commanded by your God in the Bible, could even be considered far more extreme and severe than the horrible and atrocious acts of September 11 .... I explained why I believe Muhammad (sa) is the Messenger of God in my previous post to this thread, you can read it to enlighten yourself .... The Bible is a book of interpretations, perceptions, narrations, and hearsay, canonized in the form of a book. I don't want to know the "Gospel according to XYZ" - its useless to me .... In my opinion, I think the bible is compliation of ideology, while the Quran is purely the word of God, not containing one single statement of Mohammed (sa), or his disciples, or any other man ... Only the pure revelation given to Muhammad was inscripted in the Quran, nothing else .... I explained why I believe that the Quran is the word of God, and why Muhammad is the Messenger of God in the previous post. Would you kindly go over the information and respond to it with your unbias thoughts .... The NT has tons of pagan concepts within its writings, concepts such as human sacrifice, a triune godhead, the father, son and holy ghost specifics, ... such is acquired from roman, greek and egyptian mythology and pagan religion .... Paul acquired these concepts to lure the greek, roman, and egyptian pagans, and combined it with concepts and ideas, and beliefs, from the Jews, and the claims of Jesus, son of Mary ... The NT is in fact so bad, that it includes word for word copying of Torah passages, and plagerizes the Torah and the Tanach so much to reach its evangelical goal .... Absolutly wrong, Muhammad never taught violence, he taught self-defense if absolutly neccessary .... When Jesus turned the tables, it was absolutly neccessary .... As the Quran says, when there is persecution, then we must fight against those who fight us and persecute us. Self-defense is neccessary .... not defending ourselves could be considered an act of suicide, which is also forbidden .... Christianity is actually the one that destroys the Torah, Hebrew Tanach (OT), and Gospel, for crying out loud you worship Jesus and a Trinity, the biggest possible crime against the revelation and message of God! And yet you blame Muhammad for establishing tawheed (pure monotheism).... The only one who is questioning 4000 years of divine revelation is Christianity and Paul who totally destroys the true meaning of the first commandment! Who instead of worshiping the God of Abraham, Moses, David, and Jesus, inserts a pagan concept into the teachings of the great servants and prophets of God.
You never read my previous post which went over the miracles of Prophet Mohammed (sa) .... If you are true, produce even a chapter like it ..... Hey, do it in english .... but remember, every sentence has to have perfect eloquency and lexicon, that can not be improved upon, and when scruitinzed by a high level linguistic or professor in the english language, or professor of poetry, that it is indeed honored and said to be so perfect in its eloquency and lexicon, that there is no improving on these words written by Loki ..... And if you can't do it, imagine 6666 verses of the Quran, written in perfect lexicon, and poetic rhetoric, that the poets of the time, when Arabic had reached the pinciple of langauge, that they were overwhelmed by the words .... all by an illiterate man in the midst of the deserts of Arabia, 1426 years ago .... Come on Loki, produce a chapter like it, and let us see what you've got .... There are major differences. Manes was not the descendant of Abraham and Ishmael. Manes did not succeed in spreading the message he brought. Manes performed no miracles. Manes was influenced by Zoroastrianism and was a follower of Mandaeanism, and finally, and most importantly, He died while imprisoned (c.276) in SW Persia, ie. a complete failure .... Joseph Smith also met a miserable death, while imprisoned, but yet being shot to death, possibly by Evangelical Christians ..... Smith arrived 70-80 years ago, and had all the ability and facilities to write fairy tales about an angel maroni and the native americans .... Prophet Muhammad died a natural death and even gave a Farewell Sermon, telling the masses that he was to die, and to hear his words earnestly and give them to future generations .... Muhammad was the descendant of Abraham and Ishmael ... Muhammad did produce the greatest possible miracle for the people of the time, a miracle that the Arab dignitaries were overwhelmed by ..... Muhammad did succeed in spreading his message, but yet could have been killed off so many times, but yet lived! Over 300 Muslims had to defend themselves in the battle of Badr against over 1000 Pagans, who were out for Muhammad's throat. But yet the Muslims won! Yet Muhammad survived! The Meccan pagans tried their level best to kill Muhammad, but they failed. Why? Why did God allow Muhammad to survive everytime. I don't believe in coincidences, maybe you do ... For all you know Jesus could have been a false-prophet ..... Atheist are out to prove that Jesus never even existed! http://jesusneverexisted.com/ Furthermore, Jesus was Jewish, and his ancestors wrote the Hebrew Tanach/Torah .... how is that difference than the Islamic Scripture? Prophet Mohammed also spoke of false-prophets ... but the difference is that false prophets meet horribles deaths .... see deut. 18:20 ... 'But the prophet who presumes to speak a word in my name which I have not commanded him to speak, or who speaks in the name of other gods, that same prophet shall die. (Deuteronomy 18:20) Jesus did not die on the cross, Muhammad did not die a horrible death, but Jospeh Smtih and Manes died in jail. Smith while in jail was shot to death! Jesus and Muhammad were both descendants of Abraham, and were both successful in delivering their messages. Manes was neither .... Jesus and Muhammad both worked miracles, however of different kinds and of different methods, for specific people to realize ..... Smith and Manes did neither ..... Absolutly wrong. Mecca offered him mountains of gold and wealth. They offered him keys to the kabba and to the city. They offered him authority and position. They offered him anything he wanted. All he had to do in return is refrain from spreading the message of God. The youth were very influenced by Muhammad, they left their fathers and forfathers pagan religion, in exchange for the one true God, and this frustrated the masses in Mecca. They were desperate to stop this ever-so awesome rhetoric and message. But Muhammad never accepted their offers. He was stoned by children, ran out of the city, humiliated. He recieved persecution and a death sentence, his closest family, relatives, and friends abandoned him, and the ones that accepted him, several of them were killed for accepting Muhammad. He recieved sorrow and pain. He acquired no material gain. He gave up all the wealth and offers of luxory in exchange for persecution and mockery. Yet, in the end he survived and succeeded in spreading the message of the one-true God. Kind of sounds like: When the LORD your God gives it into your hand you shall put all its males to the sword, but the women and the little ones, the cattle, and everything else in the city, all its spoil, you shall take as booty for yourselves; and you shall enjoy the spoil of your enemies, which the LORD your God has given you. Thus you shall do to ALL the cities which are very far from you, which are not cities of the nations here. But in the cities of these peoples that the LORD your God gives you for an inheritance, you shall save alive nothing that breathes, but you shall utterly destroy them, the Hittites and the Amorites, the Canaanites and the Per'izzites, the Hivites and the Jeb'usites, as the LORD your God has commanded. (Deuteronomy 20:12-17) Of course Moses and his God Jesus were not out for money or women, right? |
