James, I can tell you from my own study in genetics and biology that evolution the way it is presented is impossible.
1. Mutations reduce specificity, they do not add.
2. Cells cannot make de novo proteins
3. Cellular replication has a series of self-checking mechanisms which eliminate most problems before they are allowed in.
4. The cell itself is an excellent example of irreducible complexity. You cannot have part of a cell and have a living, replicating cell.
