ArchivedInterpreting the Holy Book. :: Re: LeonRe: Leon Yes, the point was just that; that I quite often see people quote things that are quite out of context like that when trying to endorse a point they're making. The Bibles awesome diversity thus enables you to claim pretty much anything you want and find a reference to "endorse" it. The idea I have is that since God is almighty as I am sure you know the Bible says. God knows all. I mean, he's not just "very mighty" or "particulary powerful", but ALLmighty, ALLpowerful and ALLknowing. That means that even in the very beginning of things, God could see all possible outcomes of the universe, since his intellect knows no end. God created man in knowing in detail about mans limitations and abilities. In knowing All, God naturally also knows who will see the Light, and who will not see the Light, and that is an effect of Gods actions, is it not? Of this I am aware, yet many would witness to God coming to them, Jesus touching them. This could of course be their way of seeing how they found Jesus, we can not tell for sure. I do not assume that "just because God can, God does" however. |
