It's not blackmail. It is standing one's ground and putting a little bite into one's stand.
I don't mind what a woman does with her own body. I have no right to tell her what to do with it. It's that other body -- the little one growing inside her -- that I am willing to defend. I also come to the defense of children I CAN see who are being abused. We adopted several.
Abortion is the murder of a tiny baby. It is the most gruesome of crimes. Legality has nothing to do with it. Slavery was once legal. That did not make it right. Discrimination was once legal. That did not make it right. In Germany, killing Jews and the retarded and aged was once legal. That did not make it right. Until recently in China, killing a baby daughter was legal. That did not make it right.
When legal and right are opposed, we have a decision to make. I will stand up for the right. That is my decision. I will not break laws in doing it, however, unless, for some reason, simply stating what is right becomes illegal. We seem to be fast approaching that, so maybe someday I will be in jail for something I have said. I don't know. But I WILL speak the truth, and what others do with it is up to them.
I will also do what I can, legally, to advance the truth. The boycotting of businesses involved in abortion clinics is perfectly legal and I support that.
