ArchivedHoly Crusades...Peace all.. Slight problem here. I have had this conversation with many other pagans. Each and every sect of pagan religion has provided historical text of theirs, comparable to our Bible. Yet, all carbon dating has proven that all pagan text, thus far, are post-Old Testment. Which would let me reverse the question upon you: Prove that your religion, or any other pagan religion is the truth. Hence faith. As you said: Problem is, pagans, muslims, hidus, etc etc have had this questioned reversed upon them, they have yet to prove anything. Hence faith. I dont where what made you think of this my friend. I do not force anyone. When I talked about baptising the world in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost, I was talking about witnessing the gift of Jesus. Then, if a person is ready to accept Jesus into his/her heart, they may become baptised with the Holy Ghost. I hope your not thinking that missionaries around the world grap non-Christians, hold them down under water, then say "humna humna, your a Christian". I had said:
Your right here. Because we as Christians are forced to abide by laws made by secular law makers. It works both ways. Abortion is legal, execution is legal, it is against the law for high school students to pray on their own time (lunch hour, between classes). High school students can get suspended or expelled for wearing t-shirts with a Cross on them, and the aclu wants nothing to do with it. The list is long. So what do we do? Rather than blaming the government for trying to "force" us into a life style, we, with our God given free will, make our own choices. We send our kids to Christian schools, where it is not an abomination to pray in public. We meet with other Christians, to discuss trying to get politicains in office who wont impose secular laws upon us. Free will is a great thing. We use ours to make better Christian lives for ourselves. He is Lord Peace and Godspeed Pray for Israel |
