ArchivedWhen does it become a sin? :: Re: When does it become a sin?You have to understand my friends, that we are all sinners and will continue to sin even if we try not to. As long as that person puts in their best effort to God by praying when they have those desires. If they pray and continue to follow God, eventually those desires would go away. Our bad habits don't go away as soon as we find God, it might take years for us to fully control our lustful desires. But as long as you have a conscience telling you it is wrong, and you are struggling with the situation, that means you are on the right track. We will sin unconsciously at times, but through it all, we must still fight to reach perfection. The worst thing one can do is sin willingfully. When you shoot a basketball, your goal is to make it in. You know by fact that you are going to miss shots at times, but that does not mean you are going to miss a shot on purpose. You will continue to try to make it in. This is the same with sin. We must try to resist it as much as possible, without doing it on purpose. Also Better now?, you have to realize that man are sinfull by nature not only by choice. Just because you see a Christian, that doesn't mean that person is perfect. So if someone has a homosexual tendency and they do not struggle with it, but rather continue to act on it over and over without any remorse, then yes it is a sin. A person who says homosexual tendencies is not a sin is obviously saying so because they are acting on it. |
