Abortion Memorial ServicecontraceptivesI wasn't questioning the fact that contextually "all have sinned" literally refers to "ALL", each and every one, I merely elaborated on your mention that all means all isn't always taken literally. You simply put in your own words "What is your justification for changing the word "all" to mean anything less than "all"?" Was there Problem in my explanation of the various meanings of the word "all" as found in scriptures? beads, I fully understand how that verse is to be translated and yes your rendering is correct, and that was the basis of my point and you have supported my argument in that very response. No it doesn't make you any less sinful, what is being discussed here is the human conscience and when do you come to the realization that sin is sin. Babies neither know the law or have conscience of what sin is, my point? God will judge each person(including babies) according to the God given conscience placed in every human being, the scriptures clearly teaches that every human being has a conscience and it will be manifested at some point in time because the inerrant word says so: shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness , and that God will judge them according to their conscience and according to His standard whatever it may be. The very fact that a humanist would say that nothing they do is considered sin demonstrates that they have no conviction of sin, thus proving that the Holy Spirit which brings conviction does not abide within them making them an unbeliever, therefore they are still judged according to the conscience they "once had", now being seared:
God indeed is the final authority when it comes to Judgment, and if He decides to condemn babies to hell is beyond my authority and judgement, however I wouldn't dare question Him if He decides not to, why? Because as I have said before, my finite mind cannot possibly fathom the unsearchable ways of an infinite God. God Bless! |
