Christian/Muslim ThreadsKoranic Science: The Sun and the Earth, which orbits what? :: Re: Koranic Science: The Sun and the Earth, which orbits whaRe: Koranic Science: The Sun and the Earth, which orbits wha Kai, claims of science in Quran invites the examination and criticism of any verse. In discussions regarding prophecies of science, it would be legitimate to submit the Quranic verse or similar verses. However it is not within the spirit of debate to open subject of science with just any verse of choosing. Muslim have the right to interpret Quranic verse in context, and not by what you read into verse. Should verse be regarding human earth bound perspective of stellar movements, all can agree this human perspective is timeless notwithstanding scientific reality. Furthermore all can agree with natural truth of oracular where verse is found. God alone is the Sovereign of the universe and shall not share his Glory with another. Amen. Just so you may know and I say this in kindness, Kai. There are Muslims whose faith does not hinge on prophecies of science in Quran or some other notion found here. Should you encounter them and begin discussions in same manner as done here, merely to win an argument. I can assure you in all certainty, they will leave you feeling naked. The barriers between Christians and Muslims are formidable enough, let's not create artificial ones joseph |
