Religious Cults & False Prophets~ Discussions and DebatesSpoken to the WorldTruth, there are just a few typos there. This is how it is written without any modifications. If you notice, there is a ( parenthesis at the beginning. I forgot the one on the end. It should read like this: (warnings to obey in faith instead of doing our own will in disbelief). Now when something is in () it is refering to what is already stated. I am not judging you or anyone else. I'm saying that God does not change. That what happened to Isreal is our example (warning). That if God did not tolerate those who disobeyed then, how do we expect Him to tolerate it now, professing He does not change. This is not judging. How do you think it is?
I would like to give you a qoute or two. Does God's Word offend you. I am only saying what it says. How do you call this throwing stones? Or does it cut to the heart? I have not judged anyone in saying these things. I have condemned no one. Yes, I have judged actions many times on here. And spoken of what they manifest. I don't deny that in any way. It was said, they shall be known by their fruits. Are not their fruits their conduct, how they act, their ways...?
If a person was eating a huge portion of food, while others were hungry beside him, would you not say that's being greedy or selfish? They are known by their fruits. If I say nothing to them about these things, then how do I care for my brother. If someone you cared for was about to or doing something wrong, would you not give them a warning? 2 Timothy 4:2 - Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine. Titus 1:13 - This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith; Titus 2:15 - These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee. Revelation 3:19 - As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. As many as He loves are chastised and rebuked. That would be fake love, for me to just say kind words. "Oh no, don't let me be a little offensive. Let me sugar coat the truth or just be understanding and encouraging. To show him I love him." Indeed that would be an "act." Hebrews 12:8 - But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons. God's love is one of discipline and suffering. Without such, what does the scripture say? Though there is joy in the end better than the fiery trial. And true fellowship awaits.
I do not speak down to anyone. And never have I placed myself above any of you. I speak with you. I don't "act like I love" people. I do my best to be honest and blunt with discernment, as God wills and graces. I realize that I'm in the same boat with you. We are all in this boat together in a sense. To condemn you is to condemn me. I have not condemned anyone, but I have definitely rebuked. How can you rebuke, lest you first judge? remember... He doesn't just sit by and ignore. With Love, |
