Yep, Not a Catholic Board
Who Cares, if it is not a catholic Board.
This is the point!
It reportedly says Jews and Christians share their wait for the Messiah, although Jews are waiting for the first coming and Christians for the second."
Has Rome not thought this issue through? By stating that the Jews were still legitimately awaiting their Messiah, Rome is agreeing with the Jews that Jesus was not their Messiah, their "Christ", for whom they have been long awaiting. However, by agreeing to this theological point, the Vatican is calling their very first "Pope" a liar at worst, a deceived Jew at best. Listen as the Apostle Peter exclaims his understanding and belief about Jesus:
1. Respecting The Jewish people does not mean cowtowing and destroying the fundimental beliefs of the Chrisitian Religion.
2. or waivering in your assertion of our CORE beliefs.
3. Selling our Lord and Saviour up the river for a political statement.
Not to mention, this thing destroys Papal infallability.
Last, and most assuredly, not least it is a direct insult to the truth of the matter. It sets up Christians as Anti-Semetic, for talking about their CORE beliefs.
Jesus dogmatically states that He is the only way anyone -- Jew or Gentile -- can enter Heaven, to spend eternity with the Father. When genuine Christians merely state the Biblical truth, straight out of the lips of Jesus Himself, we are accused of anti-Semitism! If fact, political correctness has reached such a state in the world today that a statement that Jews need to accept Jesus in order to be saved, is being declared anti-Semitic.
