We
God refers to Himself in the plural:
"I and my Father are one" John 10:30).
... "he that hath seen me hath seen the Father" (John 14:9).
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God" (John 1:1).
"All things have been committed to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him." (Matthew 11:27)
"The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel" - which means, "God with us."
"Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel". (Isaiah 7:14)
"For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace." Isaiah 9:5
(The child referred to is, of course, Jesus Christ - He is referred to as Father, Counselor, Mighty God, Prince of Peace - the Son and the Father are one - The Counselor, or Holy Spirit, and the Father and Son are one).
and of course
"Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness and let them rule over the fish of the sea and th birds of the air, over the liverstock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground." Genesis 1:26
God was not waxing poetic when he said "in our likeness" God is a triune God made up of the Godhead of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. There are many, many more references, look them up. Jesus declared Himself to be God - "I and the Father are One" - it is why the Pharisees had him killed (at least it was their excuse - they considered Him a blasphemer for accepting the mantle of Godhood). They knew that the Messiah was to be God - not just a prophet, and here was Jesus claiming to be the Messiah.
You can argue all you want, you can say what you want, but in the end, God is Who He is. Jesus told us Himself Who He is, so believe it or not - it is still the truth. Jesus said He was returning to His Father in Heaven - returning, not going for the first time.
If Jesus was not fully God and fully man, His death and resurrection would have been in vain. For as man, He could die for our sins, but as God He was able to die for ALL sins being an infinite God - and His resurrection gives us life. Read 1 Cor 15:12-28
I pray that you will find the truth through Christ Jesus.
