Christian/Muslim ThreadsLucifers Pride! You are interpreting the passage in a wrong way......again. "Unto Him that was able to save him from death" does not mean God saved Jesus. It means Jesus was praying to the One that COULD(able) save Him from death. If the passage said "Unto Him that SAVED Him from death" you would be right. But it said ABLE. God was ABLE to save Jesus(God can do anything), but He did not. Plus you are so ignorant. I posted like 20 times a passage in Isaiah(which for some reason you keep ignoring) that God said He was PLEASED to kill the Messiah. Jesus basically asked God if there was any other way, and God said NO and forsaked Him, fulfilling the prophesy in Isaiah. Why do you think when Jesus asked God if He could "remove this cup" Jesus at the end of His prayer said, "Not my will, but thy will be done."? It was God's will that Jesus should die for us! As your first evidence, you basically posted that it was Jesus' responsibility to die on the cross. That was His mission. Why would God then save Jesus? This will brake the promise of God. When God gives someone a responsibility and say that they are going to do it, they WILL do it! You think God will save you from all your little problems? No, God will put you through tests. The fact that God said no to His own Son Jesus gives Him reason to say no to us at times. Remember, God knows best. Not our will be done, but His. If God saved Jesus, He would not care for us, for Jesus died for OUR sins. YOUR god is the one who does not care for us. YOUR god is the devil! |
