ArchivedEndurance/Alpha debate: The TrinityThanks Ainz.
The Spirit can also be in us, that does not mean we are the Holy Spirit. Take for example the function f(x)=x^2. The variable x is in the function, but that does not mean it is the function. Also take for example the function: g(f(x))=5x. The function f(x) is in the function g, but it is not the function g. So just because we have Christ in us, does not mean Christ is the Holy Spirit. Let me ask you a question. Christ was filled with the Holy Spirit, but yet He says that when He is gone, then He will send the Comforter. If Christ is the Comforter (the Holy Spirit), wasn't the Comforter already with His desciples? I already have typed responses to the passages you mentioned prepared. And will post them accordingly. |
