This one always gets me. The way you tell it, dinosaurs not only got taken onto the ark, [as babies, because the notion of a fully grown diplodocus, triceratops and pterodactyl stomping around the deck would be ridiculous, remember], but didn't eat meat before the flood either.
Am I to assume that God therefore altered dinosaurs after the flood, giving them teeth and the notion to chase after lunch, along with all other carnivores? And if he altered things then, how do we know he hasn't jumped in and messed around with the original set up at other points in history? In fact, how do we know he didn't create us all yesterday along with the memories of the past however many years?
The notion of God fine tuning his creation doesn't sit well with me. I choose to believe in a God who got it right first time.
