Abortion Memorial ServicecontraceptivesAnd we agree on this point as well. Where we don't agree is on how God chooses to deal with these children. I have maintained that children are sinners because of their sinner nature, and that it is up to God to decide their fate. If He wills to save them, He will. If He does not, then they will go to hell. You have maintained that these children are saved by default, regardless of their sin nature; that they, in essence, are innocent of any sin. But having a sin nature means that you are guilty of sin. I've never based my argument on the first set of verses, and I've not ignored the second set. My argument is based on the fact that all humans are sinners. Sinners are condemned to hell, unless God wills to show His mercy. God is not obligated, and He has never bound Himself in His Word, to save all children no matter what. If He chooses to, great - that's His choice. If not, that's His choice also. But I am in no position to say, as you are saying, that He must choose to save all children. |
