Thank you Anieo you just dug your hole deeper.
Matthew 27:24-26
24 And when Pilate saw that he was accomplishing nothing, but rather that a riot was starting, he took water and washed his hands in front of the multitude, saying, "I am innocent of this Man's blood; see to that yourselves." 25 And all the people answered and said, "His blood be on us and on our children!" 26 Then he released Barabbas for them; but after having Jesus scourged, he delivered Him to be crucified. NAS
That is your exact words.....you even said it is. Let me point out why Pilate and his Roman rule are not guilty,
he took water and washed his hands in front of the multitude, saying, "I am innocent of this Man's blood; see to that yourselves."
He is innocent he even said it....and he has everyone as his witness!! He washed his hands in water and and said I am inocent! How much more proof do you need that the guy is innocent!
And all the people answered and said, "His blood be on us and on our children!"
The "People" being the Jews.....that just adimited in your bible, that his blood is on THEIR HANDS! THEIR HANDS not Pilate.
Then he released Barabbas for them; (Because they wanted Barabbas released) but after having Jesus scourged, he delivered Him to be crucified.
Just because he had him "delivered" does not me that "HE OR PILATE IS GUILTY" he washed his hands in water and had everyone as his witness that he was not guilty but they and all their children to come were!
And thank you for the quote I can use this to my advantage in future referances.
