ArchivedComparing and Contrasting Polytheism to ChristianityWho says man never created your god? As far as religions go man MIGHT have created all religion and everything is false. The reason the Roman and Greek Gods are so sinful is because they are the model of human society. Every different God and goddess has many sins and many good things that he or she brings to the universe. Just like humans, Prometheus fashioned them in this way and latter Pandora gave all the sins of the Olympians to the mortals of the Cosmos. Just because you say it does doesn't mean it's true...other then maybe some history of Jewish Government it is exactly like Greek Mythology (folly a made up story basically) I may believe in my own gods but I am not so stupid to believe in man made stories about them. This excludes their creation of the Universe, their actions in the Iliad, and the Anied. And some others. But the chariot flying in the sky pulled by glorious Apollo, or the story of King Midas of Create, turning everything is gold is absurd to think it's true. The Greeks even admitted to making up several stories to make a mockery of the gods! The bible may not make any mockery, (unless you count about the Jews switching over to Baal in the Early bible stories) but it is sure like all mythology in the world, not true. And the birth and Death of Jesus Christ though well documented is highly distorted. The divine being rising after dieing was well documented well before Jesus. And to remind you only the Jews speak of Jesus’ resurrection, no Roman or any of other culture ever recorded the incident after that. And if you can find documentation off the internet I will be very surprised! And I will love you for it (Make it a non-biblical source) Why would they have any reason to war against something that doesn't exist??? Of coarse I have read these things, (two times) but the Jews were looked on in a good light till they displeased the god of Abraham and he made all those horrible things happen. These things happened because the gods of the Babylonians and the gods of the Assyrians were trying to push their imperialist empires forward, It was going to happen either way because of Fate, just like a couple of the major gods and goddess of the Assyrians and the Babylonians latter joined the Roman Pantheon. So just because they were sold into slavery because they sinned against the Christian God does not mean that they aren’t talked about the most in the bible. Other then the bible if you look in an Encyclopedia......they say nothing of his conversion, because it probably never happened. And for Hinduism if it is older then technically wouldn't its gods have created the universe? And not the Christian God? Even though the Hindu Gods probably aren’t the true beings....but we don't know that actually. To say both of our faiths is the true faith is very highly ignorant and opinionated in general.
