Matthew 28:19-20
19 "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. " NAS
How does one make disciples without teaching them? You appeal to house churches but have you taken this into consideration?
Acts 2:43-47
43 And everyone kept feeling a sense of awe; and many wonders and signs were taking place through the apostles. 44 And all those who had believed were together, and had all things in common; 45 and they began selling their property and possessions, and were sharing them with all, as anyone might have need. 46 And day by day continuing with one mind in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they were taking their meals together with gladness and sincerity of heart, 47 praising God, and having favor with all the people. And the Lord was adding to their number day by day those who were being saved. NAS
Acts 20:18-21
"You yourselves know, from the first day that I set foot in Asia, how I was with you the whole time, 19 serving the Lord with all humility and with tears and with trials which came upon me through the plots of the Jews; 20 how I did not shrink from declaring to you anything that was profitable, and teaching you publicly and from house to house, 21 solemnly testifying to both Jews and Greeks of repentance toward God and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. NAS
The original church assembled as a group and dined from house to house. Paul later writes he preached from house to house. Both methods can be beneficial based on the leadership the congregation is willing to accept so don't blame Christianity blame those who call themselves Christian while denying Biblical truth in the name of tolerance and inclusiveness or intellectual achievements. The true Church is not any denomination or organized hierarchy; the true Church is composed of those who love the Lord and live their lives accordingly.
