Loki,
You raise some valid questions about Islam. Though I like the guidance offered by Islam on many moral questions, I have doubts as to whether the faith truly creates happiness and contentment among its followers. I am also fully aware of the fact that in any country where a non-Muslim country borders a Muslim one, the acts of terrorism perpetrated in the name of Islam are unspeakable.
Aineo,
The church must get it together. As I have mentioned in other forums, if Christ has the true message for mankind, I see it being carried out more by people fellowshipping and praying together in a home setting. The modern church does not offer true "fellowship". Though Paul (not Christ) established official areas of ministry, Jesus seemed to think that we should call noone master or teacher. So, again, I have a problem with Paul's "salvation"of Christianity.
The true faith is either willing to completely die for their Lord (and hurt noone else) or is willing to fight for their Lord. I guess I'm just not a good patriotic "American" Christian, because I despise our culture.
Out of time for now.
