That should answer ur questions kai, and loki and now for Abu
When people try to find a contradiction in the Qur'an, Muslims always have an answer for it. Like it was one verse abrogating another, or the piecemeal revelation, or progressive revelation and historical context.
However, the Qur'an contradicts the Bible on a number of themes.
Dont go off topic, im asking you for internal contradictions, So are u telling me that muslims shouldnt have answers for people who claim there are contradictions? c'mon now if i use ur sense then i can same if i talk bout contradictions in the bible right?
2) I find the following inappropriate; the beating of women, sex with married captives, sex with children, promotion of war, death for apostates. I'm assuming you know where to find the verses, if not let me know and I'll post them.
Yes i would like quotes from the Qur'an
1) I can't, I don't believe that I can prove that people during Jesus' time believed the Trinity concept. But the Jews were awaiting a Messiah who had divine titles. Isaiah 9:6 For there has been a son born to us, there has been a son given to us; and the princely rule will come to be upon his shoulder. And his name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.
If we dont kno what people believed when jesus was alive, then how can we conform that trinity was the belief held by the companions? I think this is why the Council of Nicea came to clear up the confusion
2) That question is like asking "Since Allah was always the name of God shouldn't Abraham and Moses have known this as well?" Abraham did not know God by the name Allah, he knew him by the name El-Shaddai. Moses did not know God by the name Allah, he knew him by the names Yahweh and Eheyah Asher Eheyah. The Jews had not known God in a Human form, but they knew of The Father who is Yahweh, and they knew of The Holy Spirit who some named as Shekinah (Sakeenah in Arabic).
No not really, because Allah means THE GOD, I dont if he called Upon the acutal name Allah, but when translated it means The GOd and we all know abraham (PBUH) and Moses (PBUH) believed in The God.
3) I don't know how long it was between Adam and Jesus.
Do you believe before Jesus, They believed in the Trinity Concept?
There are verses that imply that Jesus was subordinate to God whilst he was on earth as a Human, but that is the whole point of his sacrifice. He wasn't supposed to be a sacrificed God but a sacrificed Pure Human. When he was risen he was elevated to the position alongside The Father, this was also his position BEFORE he came down in the flesh.
subordinate- Belonging to a lower or inferior class or rank; secondary.
Subject to the authority or control of another.
You are saying GOd has a inferior version of himself? So God Turned himself human while his spirit aka Father was in heaven? my friend you speak of TWO distinct beings, not one.
They have to be TRUE PROPHECIES and they have to be spoken in the name of YAHWEH. See Deuteronomy 13.
Then i guess Prophet Muhammad was a real prophet since all his prophecies are the truth.
