A further note. Evilutionist is an assistant professor of geology. What is interesting is that he referred to the formation at the beach at Second Valley as "high-grade" metamorphic. This formation is part of the Adelaide Geosyncline.
In The Adelaide Geosyncline; Late Proterozoic, Sedimentation, Palaeontology and Tectonics, compiled by an old friend of Barry's (who is not a creationist), W.V. Preiss, printed by the Department of Mines and Energy, Geological Survey of South Australia, 1987, states the following on page 273:
During the Delamerian Orogeny, the greater part of the Adelaide Geosyncline wa subjected ony to low grades of metamorphism, not exceeding greenchrist facies.
The timing of this orogeny (meaning tectonic movements, intrusion of granites, etc.) was immediately following the deposition of the sediments found in Second Valley. Those sediments were still plastic and they were surface.
