Because when they speak of God manifesting himself in the flesh, they refer to Him as the Son. When they speak of the comforter and His prescence that all around us, they refer to Him as the Holy Spirit. And when they talk about Him as Father of creation and his sovereignity, they refer to Him as the Father. And if you notice, they also refer to Son as creator like the father, they refer to the Father and Christ being in us, which is the Holy Spirit. THey make it very simple that there is only one God, in one person.
By the way that whatever they say about one, they say about the other.
Ephesians 4:6 - One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
THis says that there is one God, who is the Father and He is above all (so that would mean that no one is equal to HIm.
Acts 7:59 - And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.
THis calls God, Jesus. So unless, they are worshipping two different God. These two must be one person/God. Otherwise, this Jesis, is a lesser god than the Father who is above ALL in Eph...

John 14:16 - And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you (another) Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
BTW, When Jesus had sent the Holy Spirit, He CLEARLY referred to Him as, "another comforter"{allos parakletos} Which literally is rendered as "called to one's side, that is, to one's aid. It is mainly a verbal adjective and is suggesting that it has the adaptability or the capability for giving aid. This is the same case in a court of justice which is indicative of a legal assistant or better yet an advocate; in other words one who pleads for another persons cause, and intercessor. This passage in scripture indicates that another person is involved. So as the Holy Spirit being the mode of Comforter is flawed as you can see.
God Bless!
