Luke 18:11-12 - The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican. I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.
Why must you keep attacking my character? All I want is clarity. Just a simple answer for a simple man. When I first opened my account as Persecuted, you told me of how you tried to reach out to this brother in love (Snipe). Well, I call your bluff. Is this love? that when a brother asks for clarity that you answer in such things as above and call his questions silly? Is that what you call extending to one in love?
Omega wrote: "you have confined the Godhead according to the limitations of man."
No I have not. I just qouted a scripture and asked you two questions about that scripture. If I remember right you went through Bible schooling correct? So these simple questions should not be a challenge for you to answer regarding that scripture.
Omega wrote: "SON, you do not have God.
Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath (BOTH the Father and the Son). (2 John 1:9)"
This speaks of abiding in the doctrine of Christ. You have never speant time with me personally to judge or condemn me. To say a person does not have God is surely condemnation. Is this the love that you say you reach out to your brother with? Is not the doctrine of Christ love? Are you abiding in that Love?
Omega wrote: "I have done all that I could possibly do to open your eyes to Scriptural Truth, and apparently it is not sufficient."
Is not love, being patient and giving to others. You have only said what you wanted to say (done your will). But you have avoided answering my question (trying to give me clarity on what you believe). So how have you done all you can for me, by saying what you want to say; rather than answering my question. How have you tried to reach me, but will not bring clarity to what I don't understand? If a student asks a teacher a question, would a good teacher try to break it down a number of ways for that child. How much more should a brother in Christ be patient with his brother.
The questions above, I do not want the answer to, they are just some things that hopefully will be thought about. The only question that I am asking you is about this scripture. If you will not answer it, that is fine. Just be honest and say I will not clearly say what I believe. Or I don't want to answer it. So again, here goes, and I pray that you will answer my questions and bring light to what is not clear in your previous posts regarding it:
Acts 7:59 - And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.
Calling upon God, what name did Stephen call? Is there more than one God?
Well, is there another God, other than the one he called upon as Lord Jesus?
