ArchivedA House Divided"Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord..." (2 Cor 6:17) "...Come out of her my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues" (Rev 18:4) God has called His people to separate themselves from unrighteousness, etc. I left a Oneness Pentecostal Church because the pastor got out of line with the will of God. The congregation was over 300 people when I first started but it has declined to about 20. I attend at another Oneness Pentecostal church that is vibrant and growing. No one "Oneness" or not is exempt from following the will of God and His order. However, the fault of a fallible person or persons within a Oneness Pentecostal Church does make the truth of God's doctrine void. You may have had a negative experience in one of thousands of Oneness Pentecostal churches but what you have done is reject the truth God wanted to bring you into based on the fault a few fallible people. God, "Oneness", etc had nothing to do with the faults of a few fallible people that offended you. I could not stay in that particular congregation without being a partaker of the wrong doings. To had stayed there would had meant sanctioning the wrong doing and that would had made me guilty of it as far as God is concerned. You see, Aineo, I walk what I talk. Most of what I post is based on real life experience as much as it is based on Biblical doctrine or history. It is one thing to talk out of theory but no one learns how to swim or drive a car by reading a book. Real life experience counts so I hope you will take that into consideration in your dealings with me on this forum. |
