Science, Creation & EvolutionSmoking-Gun Evidence of Man-Monkey Kindred: Episode IAineo wrote:ApostateAbe wrote:I'm sorry, I don't know of any benign symbiotic retroviruses common among multiple species. It is an obscure bit of knowledge concerning what is already an obscure topic of biology. The available information is limited. I can't really see the significance of such an inquiry anyway.
A benign retrovirus will not kill the host. HIV does and since HIV is passed via sexual contact HIV is not a good example to use. ASLV has to do with avian cancer. Also the retroviruses used in these studies were engineered, if I read the article correctly so this could affect the results.
I'm sorry I don't have anything more to add. I can only reassert the evidence I have presented since that is all there is available. Tell you what, Aineo, we can just end this discussion on that point, unless anyone else wants to say something, and you can reopen the thread on tails. That topic is simpler and much easier to research. It includes more than just the tails of embryos.
