Christian/Muslim ThreadsMiracle of Quran...excuseless....what do u have to say?hey, your the one quoting me verses that show supposed miracles... if i do the same to you as a counterargument all the sudden it's not good anymore... a bit hypocrit of you isn't it ???? where on earth do you see a rotating around it's core resemblance in that? a bed, a carpet, a flat planet has easts and wests too no it doesn't, he just gave the people of that time how they perceived the world looked like, like a bed ! or a carpet ! as flat as that ! you seek to make it more difficult then it is, because your ignorance and wishfull thinking doesn't want to accept the simplicity of what muhammed 'revealed you'. Interpretation given in Al-Jalalein: At the earth how it is spread out(*) (Arabic: sutihat): meaning it was stretched, so they can see in it a sign for the power of Allah ... and his saying sutihat makes it obvious that the earth is flat, and this is certified by Ulama' ash-shar'a (the shari'a theologians), not a globe as it is said by ahlul-hay'a (the laymen)." (Tafseer Al-Jalalein. printed in Damascus 1964. Al-Mallah Printshop and Bookstore) He even thought the sun was flat If Muhammad or the author of the Qur'an really had known that the earth is round, and had wanted to mention this fact in the book, he could have used a more simple word in Arabic to put an end to this puzzling issue. We have no doubt that Muhammad was aware of the existence of other words in the Arabic language that can describe the shape of something round. In fact, we read in sura 81:1 (At'Takweer - meaning: Rounding!): "Itha'sh-shamsu kuwirat": "When the sun is folded up." In this verse, Muhammad is predicting that "the sun shall be folded up" or "shall become rounded" (which would be a better translation). This means first of all that Muhammad believed that the sun is also flat and that it will become round when the hour comes. And this also means that he knows that there is a better word to describe a round shape. Therefore: Why he didn't use this term to to spare the Muslims this confusion? i am reading, are you? i didn't utterly reject it based upon prejuice, if you look into that supposed miracle it's full of dubious counterarguments. no i don' expect all muslims to accept what i say, neither should you think that christians accept all what you say either and i'm not the only one who has low regards of the quran, as is it not just because i am a christian, cause basiclly let's face it, every population that got into contact with islam doesn't have good experiences with it... the secularists don't like it because the sharia laws are woman rights are downright shamefull in islam, the atheists don't like it because it's a religion that uses force and propaganda to convert people and uses force to intimitate apostates, the hindus and buddhists don't like it because muslims puttet a conflict upon their soil wich had lastet in numerous civil wars destroying many of their ancient temples. the christians and jews don't like it since it blasphemes the bible and persecutes it's believers, the parsis don't like it since the muslims utterly annihilated them, the sikhs, the baha'i's even ex-muslims the list goes on and on.... yet again, there are many reasons not to like islam, i'm basing this on facts not on prejuice, cause let's face it, islam is a weak religion and it's farely easy to seek out it flaws without having to lie over it. but what proofs? again you have shown me nothing, nottha,.... and yes you are entertaining, but that doesn't make me a fan |
