My guess is that Tuppence has never submitted an NSF proposal, reviewed a proposal or written a proposal. I have done all of these. It's really simple, it's about the quality of the proposed science. If evolution has faults and the proposal can show how these faults might lead to a better explanation, it would be considered. If it's simple conjecture about the perceived failings of evolution, then it likely won't be funded. NSF is all about evidence and based on my experience, Tuppence's accusations have no basis in fact. -E |
