Someone who believes in Jesus' complete Power in heaven and earth cannot dialog with someone determined to limit Him by using man's wisdom to cancel out His Word and Life Witness of God's Character.
Why is it that you insist on limiting the God that your worship….?
Of course what I said was the opposite. What are you asking here?
If I can't learn from you, and you can't learn from me,
I learn from everyone… If you feel that you are unable to “defend” your belief system, then why do you insist on posting in a Bible and Koran debate forum….?
To debate in search of Knowledge of God - not to demean, or to be demeaned by others.
any attempted dialog quickly becomes a monologue of confusion.
Let me give you another opportunity to bring forth the Koranic ayahs that you feel “supports” your position…. Take your time…
"Support" is all over the Bible and Qur'an. If you are serious I'll be happy to share what they say.
On the other hand, the support for one another is obvious enough that I'm unsure why you so vehemently deny it.
Everything with God requires faith. You won't find "The God of Israel inspired Muhammed" in the Bible as you will not find a Messiah named Jesus predicted in the Old Testament.
Here are two verses that support one another, acknowledging the teachings of Jesus that were meant to "scatter the power of the holy people" according to Daniel - in other words
divide Judeo-Christianity.
- [21.91] And (remember) her who guarded her chastity: We breathed into her of Our spirit, and We made her and her son a sign for all peoples.
[21.92] Verily, this brotherhood of yours is a single brotherhood, and I am your Lord and Cherisher: therefore serve Me (and no other).
[21.93] But (later generations) cut off their affair (of unity), one from another: (yet) will they all return to Us.
PICKTHAL: And they have broken their religion (into fragments) among them, (yet) all are returning unto Us.
SHAKIR: And they broke their religion (into sects) between them: to Us shall all come back.
KHALIFA: However, they divided themselves into disputing religions. All of them will come back to us (for judgment).
[21.94] Whoever works any act of righteousness and has faith, His endeavour will not be rejected: We shall record it in his favour.
"I am come to send fire on the earth; and what will I, if it be already kindled? But I have a baptism to be baptized with; and how am I straitened till it be accomplished! Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division: For from henceforth there shall be five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three. The father shall be divided against the son, and the son against the father; the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother; the mother in law against her daughter in law, and the daughter in law against her mother in law." (Luke 12:49-53)
If you are interested, I'll post where Paul 'wrote off' Arabia in his famous Galations statement about the difference in Covenants between Abraham's seed under the Law as opposed to those under the Promise.
That statement more or less guaranteed the inspiritation of Muhammed (pbuh) and the Qur'an, because most Christians - specifically Rome - used it as an excuse to ignore the Middle East outside of the Holy Land.
Here is an example of Paul acknowledging God's work among the Gentiles outside of the Children of Israel's domain:
"For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
- "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report? So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world. But I say, Did not Israel know? First Moses saith, I will provoke you to jealousy by them that are no people, and by a foolish nation I will anger you. But Esaias is very bold, and saith, I was found of them that sought me not; I was made manifest unto them that asked not after me. But to Israel he saith, All day long I have stretched forth my hands unto a disobedient and gainsaying people." (Romans 10:12-21)
The above requires careful reading... from the beginning - Abraham at least - God's intentions for Israel and the seed of Ishmael is made clear:
"I will provoke you to jealousy by them that are no people, and by a foolish nation I will anger you..."
Paul understood the role of Arabia in the Plan of Salvation, I believe, as He understood the books of the Prophets who spoke about the "old hatred" before it was old.
