Let's be serious here. We know that Matt. is not referring to a biological father, as GOd refers to individual's fathers. Now, if God calls the Abraham Isaac's father, we know that He does not break His own word. So our charge to call no man father is quite clear. It says no man, but also, I might add that it does not say don't call your father father. If the man is not your biological father, then he is not your father period.
There were priests in the Old Testamnet, but the believers are the priesthood now, Christ being the high priest. So if I call another man my father (priest), I, in fact, deny my own preist hood which Christ gave to me. I hope this may resolve the issue.
